West Brom 8/11 to score over 1.5 goals against Huddersfield in Sunday’s Championship contest

Competition: Championship

Market: West Brom to score over 1.5 goals

Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

With their sights firmly set on clinching a play-off finish this season, an unbeaten West Brom will welcome Huddersfield to the Hawthorns on Sunday lunchtime.

Starting with the hosts, after snatching a late point away at Fulham last weekend, West Brom appear to be finding their feet under former West Ham boss Slaven Bilić. Still the only side in the Championship to maintain an unbeaten start to life in the second-tier, one starlet to watch on Sunday will be one of his former Hammers youngsters. Already bagging three goals since making a loan switch from the London Stadium, winger Grady Diangana should be relishing Sunday’s contest. With their sights set on securing a play-off charge this season, West Brom should be confident of extending their eye-catching run this weekend.

As for the visitors, while Huddersfield may have brought in Lincoln boss Danny Cowley last week, they could only slump to another lackluster display in their 2-0 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. Now on a run of form that has seen them lose their last six Championship matches on the bounce, fans around West Yorkshire will be most concerned by their side’s continued issues at the back. Shipping at least a pair of goals in their last five consecutive appearances, only fellow strugglers Stoke hold a worse defensive tally.
