Competition: Premier League
Market: West Brom and Middlesbrough to draw
Odds: 1/1 @ Bet 365

West Bromwich Albion welcome newly-promoted side Middlesbrough to the Hawthorns in this afternoon’s Premier League clash, in a game that could be a tight affair given the two clubs’ penchant to put defence first.

Albion are currently 12th in the Premier League with three points from their first two games. They won their opener to Crystal Palace, but suffered a home defeat to Everton. Their most recent fixture saw them defeated by Northampton Town in a penalty shootout in the EFL Cup so West Brom aren’t in the best shape.

Middlesbrough are eighth in the Premier League with four points from a possible six, having drawn their opener to Stoke City, before impressive beating North-East rivals Sunderland. They lost in the EFL Cup, however, away to Fulham so they’re still vulnerable ahead of today’s trip to the Hawthorns.

Both sides will fancy their chances of getting all three points, but their defensive organisation, coupled with inconsistent form in all competitions, could see a tight affair this afternoon. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 1/1 for West Brom and Middlesbrough to play out a stalemate.
