West Brom bring in McClean

West Bromwich Albion have completed the signing of James McClean from Wigan Athletic, according the Mirror.

The winger has spent the last two years at the DW Stadium, and has played eighty-five games in all competitions, scoring ten goals.

Prior to his move to the Latics, the Republic of Ireland international racked up seventy appearances in two seasons with Sunderland while he has twenty-five caps for his country.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis is set to overhaul his squad this summer, and McClean is expected to be the first of a number of new arrivals at The Hawthorns.

Former Chelsea forward Demba Ba, Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips and Crystal Palace ‘keeper Wayne Hennesey have also been linked with a switch to the Midlands outfit while a move for a new centre-back is also on the cards.

West Brom begin next season by hosting Manchester City, with the home win priced at 5/1.
