West Bromwich Albion are set to break their transfer record to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nacer Chadli, according to the Express.
The Belgium international is set to have a medical with the West Midlands club on Monday, having fallen out of favour under Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
He hasn’t featured in any of the North London side’s three match-day squads so far this season despite having played forty times in all competitions in the 2015/16 campaign, helping them to third place in the Premier League.
In total, Chadli has racked up one hundred and nineteen appearances since signing from FC Twente. Scoring twenty-five goals.
The twenty-seven year old has been capped twenty-seven times for his country, scoring four goals, but was not part of their squad for this summer’s European Championships in France.
West Brom played out a goalless draw with Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon, and next travel to Bournemouth following the international break.
