West Bromwich Albion are eyeing a summer move for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Benik Afobe, according to the Mail Online.
The 22 year old only signed for Kenny Jackett’s side from Arsenal in January, and has impressed with thirteen goals in twenty Championship appearances, though the club missed out on a play-off place by virtue of goal difference.
Prior to his move to Molineux, the England U21 international spent the first half of the campaign at MK Dons, where he made thirty appearances in all completions and scored nineteen goals – two of which came in the sides 4-0 win over Manchester United in the second round of the League Cup.
Tony Pulis’ side moved a step closer to securing their Premier League safety with victory over Manchester United on Saturday afternoon, and the former Stoke City and Crystal Palace manager’s thoughts are already on next season, with Afobe’s teammate Bakary Sako under consideration.
