West Brom set to sign Sandro

Sky Sports has learned that West Bromwich are on the verge of agreeing a loan deal for QPR midfielder Sandro.

The former Tottenham Hotsput star will undergo a medical during the day before completing a switch to the Hawthorns.

The Baggies still need to agree personal terms with the player, but they plan to register him in time for the FA Cup clash against Peterborough, where they are 4/6 to emerge victorious.

West Bromwich manager Tony Pulis admitted his interest in Sandro during today’s press conference, but it remains to be seen whether a deal will be made.

Despite showing a great deal of promise while at White Hart Lane, the Brazilian failed to secure a big club move and instead ended up at Loftus Road.

After making 10 appearances in the Championship, he will be very motivated to prove his worth in English Premier League, provided he can agree a move to West Brom.
