According to a recent report from Sky Sports, a deal to bring Robert Snodgrass in at West Bromwich Albion has been agreed.
The deal is pending his medical and final paperwork but with the man himself pretty much confirming that he’d be leaving West Ham United, it now seems as if the permanent transfer is on the verge of completion.
The contract is set to last 18 months with Snodgrass serving as the Baggies’ first signing during the Sam Allardyce era, with many pundits wondering what kind of transfer strategy Big Sam is going to have during the January window.
West Brom are in an incredibly precarious position right now in the Premier League and if they don’t turn their fortunes around soon, there is a very good chance they will endure an immediate relegation back down to the Championship. Snodgrass, however, will be hoping that he can play a role in preventing that from happening.
