Premier League outfit West Bromwich have made Matty Phillips their first signing of the summer transfer window.
The highly rated winger penned a four-year contract at the Hawthorns as the Baggies reportedly agreed a £5.5 million deal with QPR.
West Bromwich fans will be delighted with the news having seen Stephane Sessegnon, Victor Anichebe and Anders Lindegaard all leave the club on a free transfer.
Matty Phillips spent last three years with QPR, and he was especially impressive last term, bagging 8 goals in 44 Championship appearances.
The winger already has some Premier League experience, having played in the top flight with Blackpool (2010/2011) and QPR (2014/2015).
Phillips has so far earned four Scotland caps, with two of those secured this year as he represented his adopted national team in international friendlies against Czech Republic and Italy.
The talented footballer switched his allegiance to Scotland in 2012, after playing for England at various youth levels.
