According to the Daily Mirror, West Brom are ready to make a club record £5 million bid for Real Mallorca striker Oscar Trejo.
Trejo is a twenty year-old Argentinian striker who also holds an Italian passport. He started his career at Boca Juniors where he made just one appearance and then moved to Mallorca.
Since arriving in Spain, Trejo doesn’t seem to have set the world alight, with one goal in eight games in his first season, two in seventeen last season and none so far this year from two starts and two substitute appearances.
West Brom’s Spain scout must have seen enough potential to recommend the signing.
Anyone know if he’s any good?
