West Bromwich Albion are set to make a £3.5m move for Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Telegraph.
The nineteen year old is one of the hottest prospects in England’s second tier, and has already racked up over sixty club appearances, scoring seven goals.
He was named his club’s Academy Player of the Year in 2014, and has so far represented England at U18, U19 and U20 level, scoring two goals in five appearances for the latter.
Leicester City met Gray’s £4.75m Gray’s buyout clause in January, though he opted to remain at St Andrews.
However, that fee is set to drop in the New Year, and West Brom boss Tony Pulis is ready to pounce.
The Baggies currently sit in fourteenth place in the Premier League, but will rise to eight in they can beat Everton on Monday evening.
