Market: West Ham to win against Astra Giurgiu

West Ham United lock horns with Romanian outfit Astra Giurgiu tonight in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier, and are big favourites to come out on top with home advantage. Under new manager Slaven Bilic, the Londoners have been making slow progress in Europe, coming close to elimination in the previous round to Birkirkara.
They have enough quality to win this evening, however, with Enner Valencia to be spearheading their attack against Astra. As a result, they will be desperate to get the job done at Upton Park to give themselves an aggregate lead ahead of their trip to Romania for the second leg. Despite their struggles against Birkirkara, West Ham did enjoy a much more comfortable aggregate win over Lusitanos, so they have shown they can meet the levels required of them in Europe.
As for their opposition, Astra Giurgiu beat Scottish Premier League side Inverness in the previous round to make it this far, but they know they’re in for a much harder affair against the English outfit.
