West Ham United and Leicester City are interested in signing James Tarkowski from Premier League rivals Burnley in the January transfer window, according to Eurosport. The central defender has 18 months left on his contract at the Clarets and is not willing to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Leicester and West Ham are interested in securing the services of the 28-year-old when the transfer window opens in January. A couple of other top-half clubs in the Premier League are also reported to be keen on securing the services of the England international.
According to WhoScored, Tarkowski has made 11 appearances in the Premier League so far this campaign. The 28-year-old central defender played 38 league matches in the league last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored. Burnley are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 13 points from 13 matches.
