West Ham United and Newcastle United are among the clubs interested in signing Marc Guehi from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. Crystal Palace and Southampton are also admirers of the 20-year-old central defender, who is on loan at Swansea City at the moment.
Guehi joined Swansea on loan Chelsea in January 2020 until the end of last season. The youngster returned to the Liberty Stadium on a season-long loan deal last summer and has been a big player for the team this season, playing 40 games in the Championship to guide them to the playoffs.
Chelsea are well stocked in defence, and it is hard to see Guehi break into the first team at Stamford Bridge under manager Thomas Tuchel. Another loan move would make sense. West Ham, Newcastle, Southampton and Palace all are established clubs in the Premier League, and the 20-year-old could develop there.
