West Ham United are ready to reignite their interest in Manchester City centre-back Joleon Lescott, according to the Mirror.
The England international rejected a move to Upton Park back in January as he was keen to help City in their quest for a historic quadruple.
However, he has made just five appearances in all competitions since the winter window closed, and he is unlikely to be offered a new contract by manager Manuel Pellegrini.
In his five years with the Sky Blues, Lescott has completed the collection of domestic honours, wining the FA Cup and Premier League title in 2011 and 2012 respectively before adding the League Cup last month.
West Ham’s Premier League status can be secured at the weekend, if they beat in form Crystal Palace and other results fall in their favour, and they can be backed to take all three points from their game at a price of 13/10.
