BBC Sport understands that Premier League high flyers West Ham United are hot on the trail of AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
It is no secret the Hammers have made signing a high-profile striker their priority in their summer transfer window, but they have so far had a bid rejected for several quality footballers.
Nevertheless, BBC Sport has learned that West Ham are in advanced talks with AC Milan over the signing of Colombian striker Carlos Bacca.
Reports from Italy suggest the Rossoneri are ready to consider offers in the region of £26 million, despite the fact that the 29-year-old was one of their star performers last season.
After two very successful campaigns with Sevilla, Bacca went on to score 18 goals in 38 league outings for AC Milan, while netting two times at the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
The Colombian forward now looks set for a lucrative move to English Premiership, with West Ham unlikely to miss an opportunity to secure his services.
