French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that West Ham may be prepared to entertain offers for star player Dimitri Payet in the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman enjoyed an incredible debut season at Boleyn Ground and has been heavily linked with a big club move of late.
The likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea are all believed to be keen on the France international, and they have now received very good news.
Namely, West Ham seem prepared to consider proposals in the region of €30 million for their prized asset, having paid half of the amount for his services last summer.
Payet ensured the investment quickly paid off, going on to score 9 goals, while producing 12 assists, in 30 Premier League appearances.
The attacking midfielder has since played himself into the first team plans of France coach Didier Deschamps, and he will attempt to help Les Bleus justify the favourites’ tag and 10/3 odds in the Euro 2016 outright market.
