West Ham United are in a bit of a turmoil right now. The Hammers are currently in 16th place, with just one point more than the best placed team in relegation zone. True, they are still to play Arsenal in the final match of the round, but Manuel Pellegrini has already been described as ‘two games left to save his job’.
In the midst of all of that, West Ham could be making a move for Asmir Begovic. Former Chelsea player and currently out-of-favour Bournemouth goalkeeper might be the one coming in to solve their crisis in goal. The Sun are reporting that Begovic could come in, as Pellegrini is unsure what to do. Roberto has been in poor form for a while now and Lukasz Fabianski is the only real choice.
However, the Hammers want Begovic to challenge the Polish goalkeeper, but it is interesting that Begovic is also far from being the first choice keeper at his current club.
