West Ham United have distanced themselves from reports suggesting they are interested in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on loan, according to the Mail Online.
The nineteen year old, who broke onto the scene last season with eight goals in eighteen appearances – form that saw him included in England’s squad for Euro 2016.
However, he has become a bit-part player following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and could well move on when the transfer window reopens in two days time.
Rashford has started less than half of United’s league games so far this season and hasn’t scored since netting in the 4-1 victory over Champions Leicester City over three months ago.
The Hammers have also been linked with a move for Jermaine Defoe, who began his career with the East London club while former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has toov been mentioned as a potential target.
