West Ham eyeing Konate move

West Ham United are eyeing a summer move for FC Sion striker Moussa Konate, according to the Mirror.

The 21 year old striker has been with the Swiss outfit since signing from FC Krasnodar in August, and has since scored fourteen goals in just twenty appearances in all competitions while he has an international goalscoring ratio of one in two.

His form has alerted Sam Allardyce, who is keen to expand his attacking options after seeing his side fall off during the second half of this campaign.

On Christmas Day, the East London club sat in fourth place on thirty-one points, just eight behind leaders Chelsea and champions Manchester City.

However, they have accumulated just eleven points since and are now twelve behind the European qualification places.

Their next game is at bottom of the table Leicester City, where the away win can be backed at a price of 21/10.
