Premier League high flyers West Ham are hot on the trail of Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Hammers aim to build on what has been their most successful season in years and have already been linked with several high-profile footballers such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
It is no secret that manager Slaven Bilic has set out to recruit a world-class centre forward and Wilfried Bony appears to be high on his wish list.
The Hammers are also showing interest in Michy Batshuayi and Alexandre Lacazette, but they have a much better chance of signing the Ivorian.
Bony is reportedly growing frustrated by the lack of playing time at Etihad Stadium and he is ready to leave the Citizens in search of first team football.
And with new manager Pep Guardiola expected to be in charge of a major squad overhaul, he is unlikely to stand in Bony’s way of finding a new club.
