West Ham in for Arter

West Ham United are considering a move for Bournemouth’s Harry Arter when the transfer window reopens next month, according to the Daily Star.

Hammers boss David Moyes is on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Mark Noble, who is three years his senior.

Having missed just three games last season, Arter has made just eleven league appearances for the Cherries so far this term with his one and only goal so far coming in last month’s 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

West Ham, who have seen an upturn in form in their last three games, are also looking potentially securing the services of out-of-favour Liverpool forward Danny Ings.

The East London club kept a third consecutive clean sheet at the weekend, beating Stoke City by three goals to nil to make it seven points from the last nine available to them – a run which has seen them climb up to fifteenth place in the table.
