West Ham United are keen on signing former Arsenal forward Gervinho, according to the Metro.
The Ivory Coast international has spent the last two seasons in Serie A with Roma, where he has made seventy-one appearances in all competitions, scoring nineteen goals in all competitions.
Prior to his switch to the Italian capital, the twenty-eight year old spent two seasons with the Gunners, while he has also played with Lille and Le Mans in France and Beveren.
Internationally, he has been capped seventy-one times for his country, scoring twenty times while he was part of the Elephants’ squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is ready to give Gervinho a chance to return to England, as he looks to make his mark in his first season in charge at the Boleyn Ground.
The East London side begin the forthcoming Premier League season with a trip to Arsenal, and the away win can be backed at 8/1.
