Premier League high flyers West Ham have submitted a big money offer for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to Sky Sports.
The Hammers reportedly had a £31 million bid rejected by the Ligue 1 side, and it remains to be seen whether they will return with an improved proposal.
Alexandre Lacazette is widely expected to quit les Gones this summer, but it is now clear he will not be leaving on the cheap.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is also keen on Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke, meaning he could now cool his interest in the Frenchman.
The Hammers also had a £20 million bid rejected for AFC Bournemouth duo Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie, and they will clearly have to work hard if they want to reinforce the squad this summer.
Their target Alexandre Lacazette has been one of Ligue 1’s leading strikers in recent years, bagging 63 goals in last three league campaigns.
