Premier League outfit West Ham United hope to agree a deal for Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara, according to Sport.
The Hammers seem to have ambitious plans for the new season, but their pursuit of PSG star Javier Pastore appears to have ended.
West Ham are now turning their attention towards Barcelona’s Rafinha, who could be on the move this summer.
The 25-year-old has impressed during a loan spell with Inter Milan, but the Nerazzurri are not in a position to trigger his €35 million release clause.
As a result, West Ham have stepped up their efforts to sign Rafinha as the club officials traveled to Spain to hold a meeting with their Barcelona counterparts.
Despite missing a large chunk of the season through injury, the 25-year-old managed 2 goals and 3 assists in just 12 Serie A starts.
