Premier League outfit West Ham are exploring the possibility of signing former PSG forward Nene, the Daily Mail can reveal.
The Hammers saw their move for Lassana Diarra fall through few days ago, but they are now chasing another free agent.
Nene recently rescinded his contract with Al Gharafa and is reportedly in talks over a short-term deal with West Ham.
The 33-year-old has spent last two years with the Qatari side, bagging 20 goals in 43 league appearances.
The Brazilian had made a name for himself in French Ligue 1, where he scored 55 goals in 142 Ligue 1 outings for Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
Nene has been looking to return to Europe and was linked with quite a few French clubs, but it appears he will be moving to England after all.
The experienced forward is expected to add an extra dimension to West Ham’s attack following the injury to Andy Carroll.
