West Ham United are interested in signing Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Hammers have spoken to the Italian club over a possible transfer of the 23-year-old forward.
Scamacca has been on the books of Sassuolo since 2017, but it is only now that the 23-year-old is starting to come to the fore after having loan spells at Ascoli and Genoa among other clubs in recent years.
During the 2021-22 season, Scamacca made 25 starts and 11 substitute appearances in Serie A. The youngster scored 16 goals in those games.
