According to a recent report from Estadio Deportivo, West Ham United are interested in signing Aissa Mandi from Real Betis. They could make an offer believed to be worth around £25 million, which is the fee attached to his buyout clause, during the January transfer window.
The Hammers are under a great deal of pressure following a poor start to the season, with manager Manuel Pellegrini recently being assured that the board will give him more time in order to turn things around. Even with that being the case, though, he’ll need to make a big splash in the next two transfer windows in order to help them surge further up the table.
Mandi has been turning heads for Betis for a while now, and as a result, the club will be eager to keep hold of their man.
They’ve been forced to replace a string of their top stars over the last few years courtesy of bigger clubs coming in to try and buy them, and you can bet they’ll put up a fight here.
