West Ham interested in McKennie

According to a recent report from Football Insider, West Ham United are working on a deal to sign Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

The 23-year-old is viewed as one of the brightest prospects in European football and will likely be someone who carries the torch for the United States men’s national team for many years to come – so long as he can avoid breaking any more COVID-19 protocols, that is.

West Ham have gotten off to a really bright start so far this season but we can’t pretend like they aren’t a bit thin on the ground in terms of squad depth. They need to bring in a few new faces and if they’re already in discussions over McKennie, then a move could possibly come as early as January.

They’ve attracted big name players to the club before and when it comes to McKennie, you just know he’s the kind of midfielder who would love to prove himself in the Premier League.
