According to a recent report from Calciomercato, West Ham United are eager to pursue a deal to sign Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino.
The belief is that they could actually sign him for a decent price, too, improving the odds of David Moyes going after him in the summer.
That fee could be around €8 million and given the fact that the Hammers could also be playing in Europe, that’s going to be quite the boost for them.
West Ham have had an unbelievable season and that much is obvious, to the point where they’re now able to be linked with players like this. Vecino, 29, could potentially have many more years ahead of him as a high level midfielder, whereas with West Ham, nobody really knows where they’re going to go on the next step of their journey.
With the summer transfer window being right around the corner it really is anyone’s guess as to what comes next.
