The Daily Mirror claims that West Ham United could offer Cesc Fabregas an escape route from Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.
The Spaniard does not appear to have long-term future at Chelsea, especially now that Antonio Conte has switched to 3-4-3 formation.
Having spent fewer than 90 minutes of the pitch in the current Premier League campaign, the 29-year-old is almost certain to leave in the winter.
According to the Daily Mirror, West Ham United have been showing interest in Fabregas seeing that star player Dimitri Payet has admitted he might leave in January.
The Hammers would struggle to cover the Spaniard’s salary of £160,000 per week, but Chelsea appear ready to continue paying part of the wages if the midfielder joins the Hammers on a short-term loan.
Other clubs from England could make their moves as well, while it is important to note that Fabregas also has a long list of suitors in Italian Serie A.
