Premier League side West Ham United have been showing interest in Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Hammers will soon offload Simone Zaza after opting against turning his loan deal into permanent move, and they are in the market for a new centre forward.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, West Ham have set their sights on Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, who has been in excellent form over the last couple of years.
Viola are currently not too keen on selling their prized asset and are referring interested clubs to his €50 million release clause, but they would probably consider serious proposals for his services.
Nikola Kalinic has done really well since joining Fiorentina from Dnipro, scoring a total of 25 goals in all competitions.
The striker represented Croatia at the Euro 2016 finals, netting once in two outings, while he has one goal in three 2018 World Cup qualifying appearances.
