According to Sky Sources, Premier League club West Ham United have made a bid in excess of £20 million for former Sporting CP superstar Bruno Fernandes. The 23-year-old has been viewed as a hot commodity for months now, with his performances at the World Cup this year reiterating the fact that he’s someone who possesses a lot of potential at the highest level.
The Hammers, on the other hand, are on a mission to restore the reputation that they lost so dramatically last season. Despite moving into their new stadium in the last few years they’ve been unable to push for the top six and beyond as they’d have hoped, but courtesy of the fact that they managed to stay up, they’re able to re-build for the future under new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Another unnamed Prem club has registered their interest in addition to Atletico Madrid, with Sporting reportedly wanting £25 million for him.
