talkSPORT is reporting that West Ham are closely following Borussia Dortmund youngster Daniel Ginczek.
The talented striker is currently on loan at St Pauli and has been largely impressing in Germany’s second division this season.
West Ham scouts have been alerted of the player’s progress and they are now set to pay more attention to his displays.
Ginczek, 21, has come through the youth ranks at Signal-Iduna Park, but he has yet to be handed a first team debut by the Millionaires.
After spending two seasons playing for club’s reserve squad, he was loaned to Bochum last season, where he managed to score 5 goals in 29 Bundesliga 2 appearances.
Ginczek has been in much better form this term, netting 12 times in 24 league matches for St Pauli.
If he continues playing at this level, there may be a place for him in Jurgen Klopp’s squad for the 2013/2014 season.
