West Ham not interested in Payet return

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, West Ham United have not registered their interest in potentially re-signing Dimitri Payet. This news comes despite a previous report from French publication L’Equipe that indicated that would, indeed, be very interested in bringing him back to East London. 

Payet established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League during his tenure with the Hammers, to the point where many fans and pundits alike believed he was going to go on to much bigger and better things. He eventually made the jump back over to Marseille in early 2017, and while he may be searching for another route out of France right now, it doesn’t seem as if he’s going to get it from West Ham. 

The club still aren’t happy with the manner in which he went on strike in order to force a move away from West Ham.
