West Ham offered Thauvin?

According to a recent report from Sky Sports sources, West Ham United have recently been offered the possibility of signing Florian Thauvin from Ligue 1 regulars Marseille. The deal would see the Hammers pay a fee of around €40 million, and in addition to that, striker Javier Hernandez would make the switch to Marseille in a part exchange type of deal. Thauvin has had a solid run of form over the last few years with Marseille after leaving Newcastle United, and after being called up to the French national team, it really does seem like the only way is up for him.

Whether or not he’d remain in France’s plans with a move to West Ham remains to be seen, but either way, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he is able to have a successful spell in the Premier League after his time with the Magpies went so poorly.
