West Ham United are open to offers for Fabian Balbuena, according to The Telegraph. It has been reported that the Hammers will sell the defender at the right price. However, according to the report, the London club do not plan to send Issa Diop out on loan on transfer deadline day despite interest from Liverpool.
Balbuena has failed to hold a regular spot in the West Ham starting lineup over the past two seasons and is now essentially a squad player. According to WhoScored, the Paraguay international centre-back made 13 starts and four substitute appearances in the league for the Hammers last season, and so far this season, he has scored one goal in 12 league games.
It remains to be seen if West Ham get any offers for Balbuena today. West Ham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 21 matches and are challenging for the Champions League places.
