West Ham are lining up a summer bid for Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, according to talkSPORT.
The Hammers are looking for a keeper to take over from veteran Jussi Jaaskelainen as the number one and they have reportedly made the Dane their number one target.
Despite showing a lot of promise at the start of his career at Old Trafford, Lindegaard has failed to challenge David De Gea for a starting place in Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
Having failed to make a Premier League appearance since 1st December, the 28-year-old is likely to be allowed to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
Anders Lindegaard has featured in just 16 league matches for the Red Devils since arriving from Aalesund, but his constant injury problems certainly did nothing to aid his cause.
Nevertheless, there is a good chance that a move to West Ham at the end of the season would help him resurrect his career.
