West Ham remain interested in Bony

West Ham United are interested in securing a deal for out-of-favour Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, according to Sky Sports.

The Ivory Coast international has failed to make a real impact since moving to the Etihad Stadium from Swansea City eighteen months ago, scoring just ten goals in forty-six appearances in all competitions.

He hasn’t featured at all so far this season and is likely to consider the Hammers’ approach with the London side on the lookout for a new star striker.

They have so far failed in their pursuits of Christian Benteke, Michy Batshuayi and Carlos Bacca this summer and must act fast with the transfer window set to slam shut next week

Slaven Bilic’s side have won one and lost one of their opening two league games this season and next travel to the Citizens, with the away win priced at 10/1.
