West Ham United have reopened talks with Chelsea over signing Kurt Zouma in the summer transfer window, according to The London Evening Standard. It has been reported that ‘tentative negotiations’ have been reopened between the two London clubs
A potential deal for the France international central defender collapsed earlier in the window, but talks have been revived now.
Zouma has been on the books of Chelsea since 2014 when he joined from Saint-Etienne. The France international has been out on loan at Saint-Etienne, Stoke City and Everton over the years. However, the 26-year-old has been part of the Blues’ first team for the past two seasons.
The central defender made 22 starts and two substitute appearance in the Premier League for Chelsea last season, scoring five goals in the process. Zouma played five times in the Champions League for the London club last season.
