West Ham set to offer Rice big money

According to reports in England, West Ham United are set to make one final big offer to Declan Rice after the youngster turned down £40,000 a week. The 19 year old has been pinpointed as the future of the Hammers’ defence for quite some time now, as he continues to impress in the first team. He’s learning from some experienced stars, but in terms of these negotiations, he may not be making too many fans with his desire to hold out for more money.

The club aren’t particularly happy with him turning down the initial offer, as you’d expect, although it does seem as if they’re pretty desperate to hold onto the teenager in any way they can.

West Ham have been able to pull themselves back from the brink after a poor start early on in the Premier League, with Pellegrini using stars like Rice to prove that he is the man for the job.
