West Ham sign Lucas Perez

West Ham United have completed the signing of Lucas Perez from Arsenal, according to the Express.

The Hammers have been busy in the transfer market this summer signing a whole host of talent including Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson and now Perez has been confirmed ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

The twenty-nine-year old moved to the Emirates Stadium from Deportivo in the summer of 2016 and made twenty-one appearances in all competitions in his debut season in England, scoring seven goals – one of which came in the North London side’s victorious FA Cup campaign.

However, he was loaned back to Deportivo last season where he also scored seven times but was unable to save them from relegation to the second tier.

Perez could make his debut as Manuel Pellegrini’s side travel to Liverpool for their season opener on Sunday afternoon and the away win can be backed at a price of 13/1.
