West Ham United are ready to sell Sebastien Haller to Ajax in the January transfer window, according to L’Equipe. It has been reported by the French publication that Ajax will pay West Ham €25 million as transfer fee for the striker, who cost the London club €45 million when they signed him from Hoffenheim in 2019.
Much was expected of Haller when he arrived at the London Stadium at the start of last season. The 26-year-old had scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in 23 Bundesliga starts for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018-19, according to WhoScored. However, the Ivory Coast international striker has failed to do much of note for West Ham.
According to WhoScored, Haller made 24 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for West Ham last season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in the process. So far this campaign, the striker has made 10 starts and six substitute appearances in the league for the Hammers, scoring three goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
