West Ham United have submitted an increased offer for Lazio’s Felipe Anderson, according to Sky Sports.
The link between Anderson and the East-London club has been going on throughout the month, and the Hammers have already had a bid for his services rejected. Now they have put a second one on the table, believed to be in the region of €40million plus a bonus with an appearance number incentive.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito wants €50million for parting with the attacking midfielder also capable of performing in a wide attacking role, but Sky Sports believe he is likely to accept this offer as the bonus related to the number of appearances would be easily achievable.
The 25-year-old Brazilian played for Santos for four years before moving to Rome in 2013. Since then he made 177 appearances in a Lazio shirt and scored 34 goals for them. He’s a technically gifted player and boasts considerable pace even among wingers, and is likely to bring a lot to the attacking potency of Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
