In a desperate bid to improve their scoring exploits and results in the second part of the Premier League season, Slaven Bilic’s West Ham are believed to be considering an ambitious loan bid towards the two Manchester United players.
The Telegraph have learned that Hammers made an enquiry intending to take either Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford on loan until the end of the 2016-17 season.
Last season’s high-fliers West Ham are struggling to gain their footing in the league this term as they fail to climb up from the bottom part of the table sitting only five points clear of the relegation zone.
Having scored only 19 goals in 17 games so far, West Ham are in despairing urge of fresh reinforcements upfront and have already made several attempts to bolster their ranks.
Unfortunately, as Chelsea seem to be unwilling to tell go of West Ham’s top target Michy Batshuayi, Hammers are looking for a change of fortunes with Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho has used the two aforementioned players sporadically this season, but is unlikely to let his players leave in January despite their limited playing time.
