Premier League strugglers West Ham United are set to complete the signing of Brazilian defender Marlon from Barcelona, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Hammers will reportedly pay €15 million for the player who failed to prove his worth at Camp Nou.
Marlon mostly played for Barcelona B side after arriving from Fluminense, before he was loaned to Nice last summer.
That proved a very good move for the 22-year-old defender as he went on to make 23 Ligue 1 appearances, catching the eye of West Ham United.
Marlon now gets a chance to test his skills against some of world’s best forwards in English Premier League and there are no doubts he will relish the opportunity.
