West Ham are set to complete the loan signing of Hoffeinheim striker Demba Ba, according to Bild.
After failing a medical at Stoke, the Nigerian has reportedly successfully passed all tests at West Ham and he is set to join the Hammers on loan until the end of the season.
Hoffenheim general manager Ernst Tanner has confirmed the transfer is close to being completed.
“He hasn’t yet signed, but there is nothing to suggest the loan deal with West Ham will not go through.”
Demba Ba has been trying to engineer a January move away from the club and he even went on a strike, but it now seems he has succeeded in doing so.
