Competition: Europa League
Market: West Ham to win against Domzale
Odds: 4/7 @ Bet 365

Premier League side West Ham United travel to face Slovenian Prva Liga outfit NK Domzale at the Stožice Stadium in the first leg of the third round of tonight’s Europa League qualifier.

The Londoners are favourites to come away with a win given the gulf in class between the two sides, coupled with West Ham’s outstanding form on the road in the last 12 months.

Slovenian side NK Domzale reached this summer’s Europa League qualifiers after finishing third in the Prva Liga last season, but their achilles heel was surprisingly with their home form (18 games, 4 wins) so they could struggle in their own backyard against a travel-happy West Ham outfit.

West Ham United are big favourites to get a result at the Stožice Stadium with how well they fared on the road last season. The Londoners lost just five games from 19 away outings in the Premier League in 2015/16, and shouldn’t have any trouble against a Domzale side ranked 354th.

The home side don’t have the best record in Europe which could play into United’s hands. Domzale have fallen short in the first or second round of the Europa League qualifiers in three of the last five seasons, while being yet to make the group stages of the Champions League or Europa League.

As a result, West Ham United are being backed by Bet 365 with odds of 12/5 to win against Domzale tonight.
