Competition: Premier League
Market: West Ham to win against Newcastle
Odds: 6/5 @ Coral

West Ham United lock horns with Newcastle United in the Premier League on Monday night at Upton Park, and are hoping to pick up where they left off in the division before the international break. Newcastle are looking to finally get off the mark with a first win in what will be their fifth league game.

Under new manager Slaven Bilic, West Ham have had an indifferent start. They surprisingly won against Arsenal at the Emirates, but followed up the result with back-to-back defeats to Leicester City and AFC Bournemouth. However, the Londoners turned things around with a comprehensive victory against Liverpool at Anfield. They are currently 10 in the table after four games and could go fifth in the table with a win on Monday. They will be full of confidence given Newcastle’s poor start to the season.

The visitors haven’t been in good shape in the lead up to Monday’s clash at Upton Park, with the Magpies one of three sides yet to pick up a league win. Newcastle are the lowest scorers in the division (2), and have only picked up two points from their four games played. Currently in the final relegation place early on, a win for the Toon Army would see them move out of the drop zone and into 15th – sending Chelsea into the bottom three.

Newcastle’s away form last season was woeful, while West Ham are normally a strong outfit to face in their own backyard, As a result, the Hammers are being tipped to come out on top on Monday night, which could see them finish the day in a Europa League spot in the table.
