West Ham United are favourites to sign Evan Ferguson from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler is a fan of Ferguson, but he does not think that the Republic of Ireland international striker is not ready to play week in and week out for his team.
CaughtOffSide has claimed that Ferguson wants to leave Brighton on loan in the January transfer window. West Ham United are favourites for the 20-year-old striker. Although the Hammers, also linked with AC Milan star Christian Pulisic, have already expressed their interest in getting a deal done for Ferguson, they are facing competition from Newcastle United, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Ferguson has scored one goal in one start and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Brighton so far this season. During the 2023-24 campaign, the young striker found the back of the net six times in 15 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Premier League.
