West Ham United are interested in signing Gabriel Barbosa from Flamengo in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph. It has been reported that the Brazil international striker is on the radar of a number of clubs in Europe, and West Ham are among them.
Premier League club West Ham have enquired about the availability of Barbosa. The Hammers want to sign a new striker to enhance their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season. David Moyes’s side are also still in the Europa League.
Michail Antonio is the first-choice striker at West Ham at the moment. The 31-year-old, who played as a right-back and as a right-winger before Moyes decided to deploy him as a striker, has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 19 Premier League starts for the Hammers so far this season.
